Celebrate the season with this annual fall fundraising activity. From noon to moon, the 3rd annual Fall Fest at the Lands at Hillside Farms will feature folk rock, bluegrass and jam music by Cabinet. No admission charge. Parking is $5 per vehicle so car pool or just fill up your car with all your friends and come to the farm. Lots of free activities, fun and games for children, face painting, artisan demonstrations including blacksmithing, basket weaving, and stone carving. Wagon and farm equipment display. See all the animals close up: the cows, the horses, the sheep, goats, pigs and chickens. Hay rides for $1 by horse or tractor, apple pie judging, pony rides for $3, Kiss the Cow contest, basket raffles. Food includes hot soups, hamburgs, hot dogs, pork bbq, assortment of side dishes, pizza, pie and ice cream, fudge, candy apples, fresh cider, hot chocolate, apples, and more! It ends by roasting marshmallows on a campfire with storyteller Mary Baker.
